And the value of gold or silver are not static. You need to take into account the “paper” market where fools believe they have the Gold but instead only have the paper and nothing more. When the COMEX goes bust (and it will), you will see them rise to free market levels. Then you will see a huge panic into PMs because once people see Gold is worth way more than $1000/oz, they will rush into it no matter the value of the dollar.

You are correct to an exten - That would be the case assuming PM prices were not suppressed, however, they are so people buying now will make profits. And even after they raise to free mkt levels, the mere fear will raise the PM prices as well no matter the value of the dollar.

So note, people with PMs now WILL profit off of this depression.
